A team of Year 8 students attended the First Lego League competition at Daresbury, Cheshire this week.
First Lego League is a global science and technology challenge for students. The league wants to spark student’s interest in real world issues and develop key skills that are crucial for their future careers.
Teams were judged on their core values, robot design, a project presentation and robot missions.
After leading comfortably in the first two rounds of missions, LCH were narrowly beaten in the final round.
An impressive technical team performance earned the students a judges’ award. Well done Team LCH – brilliant result.
