Dexter and Charis (Year 10) both represented Laurus Cheadle Hulme at the annual Withington School for Girls, Model United Nations Conference on the 1st July.
They were delegates representing the country of Italy and took part in both the ‘Youth’ and ‘Historical committee.’ The Youth committee discussed the issues of medical emancipation and AI regulation in education.
The historical committee discussed the issues of the expulsion of Asians from Uganda and the Cuban Missile Crisis. They also responded to the crisis committee regarding the issue of bees! In attendance were representatives from schools across Greater Manchester.
