We are absolutely delighted that live productions are finally returning to Laurus Cheadle Hulme and what better way to kick things off than with Andrew Lloyd Webber’s high-octane musical School of Rock.
Based on the 2003 film, School of Rock follows the story of a failed, wannabe rock star who, while posing as a teacher at a prestigious prep school, transforms his class of straight-A students into a guitar-shredding, roof-raising rock band with hilarious results.
We cannot wait to get started on this production and, with such an array of talent at Laurus Cheadle Hulme, we already know we’re going to have an exceptionally strong cast for this theatrical extravaganza.
After such a long hiatus due to the pandemic, it’s wonderful news that our students can tread the boards once again and showcase their talents on and off stage to a live audience.
Performances will be held 29 – 31 March 2022 so make a note in your diary as this is one show you will not want to miss.
