Laurus Cheadle Hulme students had the chance to train with City in the Community coaches and the Laurus Trust’s Head of Sporting Excellence, Paul Dickov, recently.
They travelled to City’s Etihad campus and completed training drills to build communication and help teamwork as well as competing in a friendly match at the end of the session.
Paul said: “This was a great opportunity for the students to learn footballing skills from the CITC coaches and train in a fantastic environment.”
The Laurus Trust strives to create opportunities for its students with experiences in and out of the classroom, levelling the playing field and bridging the gap between state and private schools.
